Again sexist sg media rears its ugly head again.

After fugging up the baba culture by showing them as cruel male dominated and the heroine in the show is born from a kind hearted jap father during ww2.

Of course during that time females were more docile and more homely. Of course sexist sinkeeland media cannot tahan this type of thing so they had to make the female lead behave as uncouth as possible as rebellious.

I doubt our grand mas or mothers behaved like that and they were strong too.

Basket of course the sexist media had to show almost all the males in the show as useless.

In sexist sinkeeland the daughter looks exactly like the mother while no mention is made of the jap father. If humans could reproduce without male and females sexist sinkeeland would immediately cancel all male and female relationships in the show and reduce all males to slaves or philanders or leechers.

It's good they did not mention her father anyway. He's a jap and i wonder wat's the purpose of showing her mother falling in love with a jap??? Oh yes cos all the baba males are useless need a kind hearted jap, cos u know not all japs were so cruel to murder and kill our forefathers. Some of them also piak our fore mothers.

If only tcs were to focus on their script writer coming up with a convincing and credible script and right casting! then even without all the publicity, the show will be popular thru' word of mouth. Imagine even before the show is shown, there is a lot trailers to publicise the "drama". No need for that if the show is of good script and right casting. One good example would be Beancurd street. Of course, that was helped by a good song sang by a more than competent singer.

What takes the cake is that they even tried to promote the show during their 45th aniversary show!
