The purpose for such "LIVE" Debate came about because LHL is sweating. PAP has done overwhelming damage to Singaporeans across the board. It has became too deep and too wide that they could have resolve our problems during their term in office but failed to listen to the people.
They gloated when we complained,
they called us lesser mortal when we questioned their extravagant lifestyle,
they called us chief grumbler when we wanted to share our view,
they said we have no spur in our hide in order to justify influx of cheap foreign trash and divided our country into various enclaves.
they said our national pledge is aspirations,
they admitted this is Singapore Inc and not a nation or country
they wanted us to be cheaper, better and faster so they can keep their obscene pay and 8 months bonuses among other perks.
they put up spy camera at Hong Lim parks, jailed our opposition parties, gazette popular blogs, censored "educational" films, deprived alternative voices a place to conduct talks.
They concluded that we are ignorant lot and took our credit for themselves.
They put up road gantries (even in heartland areas), medical mean testing, up GST, squeezed MRT, inflated HDB price, up utilities, and depressed our rice bowl and categorily broke their promises made in 2006 Election.
Now that election is looming - you see PAP praying at the temple, "begging" for forgiveness, bribed us with growth dividend, blackmailed the opposition ward residents, threatened us that we will become 2nd citizen, made tea for the old folks, carry babies, change light bulbs for the poor and requested that they be surrounded by photographers and reporters to wayang their "GREAT DEEDS" in their newspaper front pages.
Do you believe a single LIVE debate or forum can easily repair the last 5 years of sufferings inflicted on the people of Singapore, knowing that these MIW will resort to same bullying again after election is over.
