李嘉誠：通過「港區國安法」冀可紓緩中央對香港擔憂
全國人大會議明日閉幕，大會將會就「港區國安法」的決定草案表決，人大各代表團明天早上會再審議決定草案內容，再作最後定稿。
長和系創辦人李嘉誠應傳媒要求，回應人大就「港區國安法」決定草案表決一事，並以書面回覆。他表示，任何國家對自己的國家安全問題，都有權責， 外界不必過份解讀，通過《港區維護國家安全法》，希望可以紓緩中央對香港的擔憂，發揮長遠穩定發展的正面作用。
李嘉誠又表示，特區政府責無旁貸，要鞏固香港人對「一國兩制」的信心和強化國際社會的信任。

立法會今日(27日)恢復《國歌條例草案》二讀辯論，有網民發起包圍立法會，警方在各區加強巡邏，以防有人作出破壞行為，並在多區拘捕16人，更在部分人身上搜出汽油彈。
警方指，自今日凌晨起，有犯罪分子在本港多區進行違法活動，有暴徒縱火焚燒雜物，向港鐵路軌投擲大型雜物；又有人罔顧道路使用者安全，在馬路上擺放鐵釘刺穿汽車車軚，在紅磡海底隧道出入口刻意慢駛阻塞交通；亦有人以硬物貼在港鐵列車車門上，阻礙開關。
而警方在採取預防性反罪惡巡邏時，更先後發現有人在公眾地方藏有汽油彈及鎚仔等武器。截至早上11時半，警方拘捕至少16人， 年齡介乎14至40歲 ，涉及罪行包括藏有攻擊性武器、藏有工具可作非法用途、危險駕駛等；有3輛汽車被警方拖走。警方積極執法，本港各區公眾秩序得以維持。
早上約10時，警方在銅鑼灣東角道附近巡邏期間，發現一名22歲男子形迹可疑，遂上前截查。警方在該男子背囊中搜出汽油彈、火機及錘仔等武器。男子涉嫌在公眾地方管有攻擊性武器被捕。消息指，被捕男子為香港科技大學四年級學生。
早上6時許，警方在深水埗青山道及九江街交界附近，截查2名分別15歲及18歲少年，在他們身上搜獲多個汽油彈、眼罩及頭盔，涉嫌藏有攻擊性武器被捕。
在差不多時間，兩名分別14及15歲身穿校服的學生在荃灣沙咀道近咸田街一帶徘徊，形迹可疑。警察上前將其截停，在其背囊搜出頭盔及防毒面具等工具，涉嫌藏有工具可作非法用途及遊蕩被捕。
而在凌晨約4時，警方在黃大仙鳳舞街巡邏期間，發現兩名男子形迹可疑，遂上前截查。二人一度嘗試逃走但被警員截停。警員在他們身上搜獲索帶，及在現場檢獲一把刀及一把剪刀。而根據現場觀察所見，該處有作道路工程用途的臨時圍欄被人以索帶綁起。兩名男子涉嫌藏有工具可作非法用途被捕，二人年齡分別為16歲及22歲。
警方警告暴徒，切勿試圖挑戰本港法治，警隊會繼續密切注意各區情況，果斷執法，積極截查所有可疑人及車輛，全力打擊及預防罪案。
