sawadee...bro joe, i agree with you. first you have to have a home. a good home will cultivate a good heart, follow by hope. hmm...wait a minute, sometimes, i think it depends on individual, i see people from good home still harbouring evil thoughts, apparently with a wicked heart.
i have to admit that our government has done a good job though still not to our expectations. some ministers really have no idea that what they say are a reflection of their life experience, to put it bluntly, they probably have not much life experience.
i was pushed into emotional distress by the authority, i have mixed feeling about them. i am sure back where you are from, you see beggars including children begging for alms, in here, we have beggars by choice.
s'pore is one of the richest country, i am glad it is and that's when i can have my off days. i admit i used to make noise, tantrums, and that was due to the fact that i was harrassed by, until today i am still not too sure who...but i know they are from the authority, abusing their power messing up my life! if the leaders can punish those who screw me upside down, this will be the most perfect country to be in for little me...:o

I'd say Home not just a roof over you but also necessary material too like job, holidays, time with family etc
Then Heart, I think if have above sure got heart la
Then after sure got Hope la
To put Hope first is like N.Korea's propaganda "Your Great Leader and your country is the bestest in the world so its ok if you go hungry and he is fat" = "It's ok for more foreigners to come so you have hope for future and I also have more hope to get their votes for future" - simply propaganda for the daft
Last night I was in Jazz club in Beijing's 三里屯, mostly foreigner in the crowd. Nice music. I asked a young waiter who seems to be a senior waiter there, "seems not many Chinese here in Jazz club?" He answered me, "中国人饭都吃不饱还会听爵士阿?" So to PAP, don't deny Singaporeans what we deserve and stop talking about hope and heart while your keep breaking our hopes and hearts!
