A commuter at the Pudu LRT station was caught by surprise when a man casually walked up to her and groped her buttocks and private parts, Sinar Harian reported.
The molester then walked away, but seeing that the woman was alone returned to bravely introduce himself and asked the young woman, in her 20s, if they could be friends.
The initial shock worn off, the woman used her mobile phone to snap a picture of the man, and then called her husband.
On realising this, the man quickly bolted from the scene, the paper reported.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the incident occurred at around 3.20pm on Aug 3.
He said the traumatised woman and her husband later lodged a police report and handed the photo on her phone to the police.
