根據民進黨初選民調，蔡英文總統獲得壓倒性勝利，不但完勝行政院前院長賴清德，就連高雄市長韓國瑜都落後蔡英文11.2個百分點，引發諸多質疑。台灣民意基金會董事長游盈隆發文質疑離奇，指這份民調結果挑戰經驗、理性與常識，他表示，除非民進黨公布原始資料，初選雖已落幕，政治問題獲得解決，但是留在人民心中，對於初選民調的質疑，短時間內不會消失。
游盈隆指出，台灣本來就很少進行手機民調，五家一起做更是開先例，其中一定有許多可以探討的東西，除非中央黨部願公布原始資料，可供學術界進行研究，不過那可能是很久以後的事情。
台北市前副市長丁庭宇也說，五家民調公司各有不同訪員，執行過程中理當也沒有交流；五家民調公司，同時進行手機合併市話民調，結果出來，竟然五家都這麼整齊，他當場大笑三聲。
