Legal community in shock over sudden death of Advait Luthra

Advait Luthra
Advait Luthra, a partner at Luthra and Luthra and the nephew of late founder of the firm Rajiv Luthra, died on 14 September 2024. He would have turned 31 on 29 October this year.
This untimely death has shocked the legal community who remember him as a humble person and was always ready to help. Interns at Luthra and Luthra have shared their fond memories of him providing guidance and mentorship during one of his many open hours for them. A remembrance ceremony is scheduled for 5pm on 17 September 2024 at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
Advait Luthra was a graduate of the University of California, and then pursued undergraduate law at O.P. Jindal Global University. As a partner at Luthra and Luthra, he focused on TMT specialising in fintech, data privacy, AI and the regulation of outer space among other areas.
In the past, Luthra had worked with Audi, Google India, Airtel Bank and Jio Ads as well as many others, advising on various issues related to privacy, data protection, fintech and regulatory compliance.
Rajiv Luthra, the founder of the firm had died on 10 May 2023.
