Over 90 dogs lost in Nov
Dec 9, 2009

AMONG the many dogs at the Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), a good proportion are dogs that were lost.
SPCA's excutive officer Deirdre Moss said that 'there were between 90 to 94 lost dogs taken in by the SPCA a month over the last two months'.
She feels that not enough pet owners are taking the necessary precautions to keep their dogs from running out of the gates and when they do, owners do not make enough effort to find them.
At the Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD), they receive 5-8 calls a day from owners looking for their lost dogs.
The two organisations strongly advise dog owners to tag and micro chip their dogs so that should they get lost, it would be easier to trace back where they came from and reunite them with their owners.
