This will probably be old fart's last election. The only other person surviving in the hierarchy more senior than the PM is Woody who is not part of the Lee family.
Placing Ms Tin in Marine Parade GRC is a strategic move by Old fart before he departs from this world even though Ms Tin has a lot to be desired. He knows that Ms Tin will be a liability to Woody but securing his dynasty is more important. If Woody survives another term, old fart will have Ms Tin serving as the ears of the PM. If Woody doesn't, old fart will have cause to remove him from the hierarchy. Either way, it strengthens the survival of the Lee regime.
From the point of Woody, he hasn't got a choice. He has to agree to Ms Tin joining his team to remain within the hierarchy. If he disagrees, it only shows to the Lees that he has plans after the old fart is gone.

That Fatimah is a trauma specialist?
Does not make sense.
What do you guys know what he meant.
My tongue is long , good for many purposes, like snapping at a fly when I am hungry in my village by Lake Victoria in remote Uganda.

Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong says his comment made on Facebook on PAP candidate Tin Pei Ling was "tongue-in cheek".

<!-- End Related Links -->SM Goh said on the 'MParader' Facebook page Saturday evening that "young Pei Ling has been traumatized". He said he saw her yesterday (Friday) with "trauma specialist, Fatimah".
One hour later, he posted a second statement on the Facebook page saying that Ms Tin had called to inform him that the media had wanted her comments on his post.
"They (the media) have failed to appreciate my tongue-in cheek post".
He explained that he had used a "medical metaphor to describe "Fatimah" as she is a trauma specialist.
