Salary will be freezed or reduced for the employees but ministers are exempted.555No use. Budget given did not create great impact to help struggling citizens. Whether he is making empty talks can be judged by weather the ministerial salary will be reduced due to tariffs on Singapore economy.
Actually I am not even sure SG has economists or not.The answer is obvious.
LW has no solution to it, therefore he cannot say it out even he wanted to please sinkies.
He can only hint to sinkies be prepared to jiak sai, and that you can eat less sai and some real food when you put pap (with leecord) in charge.
And that you will jiak sai everyday if you vote for oppies.
So now sinkies need to ask themselves this simple question.
Do I want to jiak sai everyday or jiak sai at times and jiak food at times.
It is HEADLINE.look at ST deadline today, whole world going to be in trouble and MIW only concerned about "Growth". This stoopig cuntry must always grow grow grow every year at all cost
Economic growth at ALL costs - including sacrificing the livelihood of true blue S'poreans.look at ST deadline today, whole world going to be in trouble and MIW only concerned about "Growth". This stoopig cuntry must always grow grow grow every year at all cost
If no GDP growth , then no salary increase for ministers.look at ST deadline today, whole world going to be in trouble and MIW only concerned about "Growth". This stoopig cuntry must always grow grow grow every year at all cost
Regrettably, the political landscape has been characterised by the single-party dominance of the PAP since S'pore's independence. Paradoxically, this enduring dominance appears to stem from voters who, despite frequently criticising the govt in their daily lives, continue to support the ruling party at the polls because they opt for the devil they know. The rationale offered for increasing ministerial salaries – attracting private sector talent and reducing corruption – is met with skepticism by most of us. The prevailing sentiment on the ground suggests that those inclined towards corruption are unlikely to be deterred by higher pay. Look no further than Iswaran, and others yet to be exposed. If no GDP growth , then no salary increase for ministers.
I have no idea too.Actually I am not even sure SG has economists or not.
What I know we have only so called Budget Team aka Ministry of Finance which kept on having increased in budget.
MAS a regulator for Banks & GIC investment arm plus GLC temasek.
USA has a team called Treasury & Federal reserves and all the private investment companies. All sorts of economists/analyst from bank.
Have we had a hearing from MAS like USA Federal Reserves? Not in my life time yet.
Economist & Finance may have some overlapping knowledge. However, roles are different. Economists look after the health of the economy while Finance (budget, taxes) focus on wealth management, hedging once they got money. Risk taking in any line & if handling taxpayers money, usually we used it to run the country aka know as Public Financing. Not like a tamasek can go take risk. But I do know our economy is not a free market but heavy government intervention. Hence the demand or supply (look at coe market, look at labour market) is engineered unlike USA on the other extreme end Laisse faire.I have no idea too.
But gic ma's and temasek has so many investments analyst.
As economist and investment analyst has overlapping knowledge areas, they should be able to take up crossover role bah.
