So now that LKY decides to leave, he can leave too... and can spend more time with his grandchildren in London

But I doubt he will return to attending to MPS in person, even if he is now full-time MP and claims to devote more time for MP constituency

My guess is LKY and GCT doesn't see eye to eye before and during the GE 2011 just like a headless chicken. That's why Ah Loong had to do the sorry story followed by the others as well inorder to appease/hoodwink us sinkies before the final countdown.

After the GE, LKY and GCT still cannot see eye to eye and Ah Loong bo bian has to ask them to jump overboard or they will sink the boat in no time.

So both LKY and GCT hold hands together and jump out...thus saving us sinkies millions of $$

Agree. GCT is used to legitimise LKY's continued presence in Cabinet. If LKY goes, GCT has to go too. He is being made used of, knowingly or unknowingly. But, it is still a well-paid job even if manipulated.
