They have to use this posture because hands behind back is "senang diri" and hands by the side is "sediyah". There is no military command for "hands covering lan cheow".
In my opinion, the generals should be sent to Afganistan or Iraq to gain real battle experience.

If Singapore army generals are not like schoolboys, then I worry. Like, when's the next invasion of Malaysia or carpet bombing raid on Indonesia...? Schoolboys are good. Never do such things. Talk and type on keyboards only, and write too, if they remember how to use a pen or pencil.
