The singer was pictured holding a microphone as she held the giant cuddly toy. Kylie was performing at London's G-A-Y nightclub when she was given the teddy bear. The photo was posted on Facebook by a fan but it was later pulled from the site. The social networking site sent out an email which read: "We do not allow photos that contain nudity, drug use or violence."
It is not the first time that Facebook has censored seemingly innocent photographs. Earlier this year Facebook told one user to remove pictures of porcelain dolls with no clothes on from her page, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. In 2008 the site was heavily criticised after it banned photos of women breastfeeding.
Thousands of women had their pictures removed from profiles and online albums after they were classified as "obscene content" by the site. Facebook said the website took no action over most breastfeeding photos because they follow the site's terms of use, but photos that showed nipples were indecent and had to be removed.
