The ICA officers are usually rotated every 2-3 years, esp those processing PR applications. There is some guy in ICA whose term would be up by next year, decides to make some side money before his term is up.
He charged a PRC MM on s-pass here $20K for helping her to get her PR. The PR has been approved. This PRC MM's s-pass is also "how siao" one. Her qualifications were fake, according to my source.

I personally heard from a couple of mei meis still on tourist visa now working in KTVs including top tier TAM; already paid agent that their "visa" sure to approve. Heard $3000 upfront followed by $4K or $5K on approval and $500 every month thereafter.

I wait to see if they still around after their tourist visa runs out in about 4-5 weeks. Already extended to 60 days.

Has to be some form of CORRUPTION somewhere inside.

1. They pay S$8-$14K for their 2 year passes.

2. They do not even know where the companies they are suppose to work for are. They confess, it's to fool the authorities here.

3. Met a KTV girl who paid and had here pass cancelled after 6 months without here knowledge. She was arrested in a AV raid and is now turning state witness against both the company and the agent company for the bogus passes.

4. Even met some new girls that are in the process of applying for such passes. In spite of my partners advise against, they will go ahead to pay the agent company.

5. After their passes are approved, they even have to pay their own monthly CPF contributions to the agent; here I believe a SCAM is working double.
