This afternoon my uncle & me reached Kranji Turf Club at 1pm for the Hong Kong Race. To our surprise ... it’s was closed down due to limited capacity

My uncle was quite disappointed & we ended up going for coffee

You & your uncle probably saved a a few $K......

They should have allowed ktm to stop at kranji instead of woodlands. It benefit the turf club with jiu hu punters plus the mrt link to other parts.

Does this mean that only 250 persons are inside the turf club?

I dun know & only to see a fat Indian security guard using loud hailer saying “Dear customers .. the Turf Club has been closed for the day & there is no point waiting”

Its social distancing and no crowd gathering. We don't want snother Sri petaling tabligh type of clusters forming.

They already listed that using temp part timer to control crowd and limit capacity. Also i think temperature scanning etc.
Your uncle should avoid this type of crowded place

We thought of driving down to RWS Livewire but my uncle say just forget it becos sure full house there & no entry too.

In times like these, the gahmen should allow on-line gambling & horse betting.

Soccer betting .. A-League is the only still playing this afternoon. The rest of the European League are shut down.

I am not sure whether rws livewire have also limit the capacity too.
But i was expecting the crowd may be lesser due to Coronavirus scare.

Last year on a normal Sunday SG, Msia & HK horse racing together with soccer matches like A-League & other Japan / Korea league ... RWS Livewire already full house before 2pm
