8 Jun – It was revealed that Korean actress Choo Ja-hyun had to undergo surgery a few days after giving birth to her baby.
As reported on Epoch Times, the news was revealed by the actress' agency, BH Entertainment recently, saying that she was rushed to the emergency room after showing early symptoms of spasms.
"At present, Choo is taking some rest as advised by her doctor. Her husband Yu Xiaoguang is also staying by her side. The baby is very healthy, thank you for your concern," it added.
Yu has also addressed Choo's condition on Weibo recently saying that his wife had been feeling poorly after giving birth to their baby.
"She is currently having her health examination and undergoing rehabilitation. The details of her condition are yet to be confirmed. Rest assured, I will always be by her side."
The couple, who tied the knot in January last year, welcomed their first child on 1 June.
