Top policemen ticketed for speeding

A top Auckland policeman has been caught speeding.

Superintendent Ted Cox was clocked driving at 120kmh on Auckland's Southern Motorway, One News reported.

Mr Cox was stopped during a crackdown on speeding that aims to cut the number of deaths on New Zealand roads.
Sergeant Mike Hoff of Auckland Motorway Police said Mr Cox had been given an infringement notice.

Sgt Mike will be promoted to Detective Snr Sgt Mike and heading his own investigation squad. In 10 years time he'll probably be an Area Commander.
