Upon rushing there to check, it was some large tiles on the upper wall that have popped out and cracked, smashing onto the shower area below. Some one was bathing there just 1 hour ago and if the killer tiles will to have popped and smashed down earlier, I think the person will be injured, or even get killed since the tiles are large and disintegrated over the whole floor.
My house is about 12 years old, and upon calling the HDB, their reply was really defensive and really makes one boil. The officer replied that the problem belongs to the owner of the house, and it happens frequently, and even if the person gets killed by the popping tiles, he agrees that the mishap would be just plainly unlucky, seems like its none of their business.
After some arguments to and fro, the officer then agreed to replace and repair the wall tiles that cracked out of goodwill, only if we agree to sign some letter, thinking he meant that the letter indemnify them against further liabilities and also it's the owner problem and they doing it for goodwill, something like that.
Anyone have ever encountered such "killer tiles" , and what action to take? The broken tiles are still being kept as evidence of poor workmanship, if there's any. http://www.fuckwarezone.com/img/forums/styles/hwz/smilies/mad.gif;pv45b229cc1dc15af8
