Killer litter hits cleaner

SINGAPORE: A cleaner working in Yishun was hit on Tuesday afternoon by killer litter.

He was then sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he received treatment.

A spokesperson from the Sembawang-Nee Soon Town Council confirmed the incident happened at about 1.30pm.

The cleaner, who is employed by Clean Solution, was hit by a mirror that fell from a flat while he was carrying out his job at Blk 254 Yishun Ring Road.

His forehead was cut by the mirror.

Residents called the police and ambulance, and the cleaner was treated with four stitches at the hospital.

Police are investigating.
