Void deck robbery in Bedok
A MAN in his late 20s was robbed of about $2,000 in cash by two men at a void deck in Bedok on Sunday.
He was confronted by the dark-skinned men, one of whom had a sharp object, according to police. A struggle ensued and the man suffered a slight cut on his right arm. The attack happened at Block 204, Bedok North Street 1, around noon. One of the assailants was described as 1.8m tall, in his 30s, with short curly hair. The other, believed to be in his 20s, had shoulder-length hair. Both were of medium build and were wearing black T-shirts and blue jeans. They also wore sunglasses.

Bedok is an enclave of malays and crime rate has alway been above average in this old estate. the malay belt stretches from Bedok towards Eunos and you will notice malay establishment prominently.
