THE kelongs that once dotted the coastline of Singapore are becoming a rare sight.

And the kelong population is likely to sink further, said a spokesman for the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), which administers Singapore's kelong community.
 
Haha I agree that kelongs are vanishing fast but the other type of kelong is here to stay.:D
 
Most Spore kelongs are located around the Ubin & CCK area. With the toxic laden & brackish water, the fish farmers are facing high mortality on their livestock.
I'd say, dismantle the woodlands causeway (that means to build the crooked bridge) then we'll get clean free flowing seawater all the way from South China seas.
