She used an American passport in the name of Nguyen Chau Mai, but her real name is Luong Kathleen Thi Trang Hoang. The boy's American passport bore the name of her 12-year-old son Phan Andrew, but he is really Nguyen Quoc Tuan, eight, from Vietnam.
As her facial features did not match those of the photo in her passport, she was quizzed by immigration officers.
