A woman was caught on camera hitting and shouting at an elderly man in Bishan MRT station on March 12 at around noon.

Stomper Ke was on the way to lunch at the time.




"I heard lots of screaming and shouting by a woman towards an elderly man," recounted the Stomper.

"The middle-aged lady was bullying the elderly man. They seemed to be related to each other as I witnessed the woman barking orders at the man and even hitting and shoving him multiple times."

The Stomper shared a video that showed the woman scolding the man in Hokkien while both were seated on a bench on the train platform where other commuters turned to look at them. She can be seen slapping his lap until he eventually got up and walked away, bent over and nursing his leg where she hit him.

She is probably criticising her hubby for not being able to afford a car so they have to ride on the overcrowded MRT.
