Huge mess left at Jurong West but cleaners are nowhere to be found

STOMPer Moon Riders says this mess was left uncleared at Jurong West Street 64. He wonders why no cleaners were sent to deal with it.

In an email today (Apr 22) the STOMPer wrote:

"Saw this horrible mess on Sunday (Apr 18) at 661 Jurong West Street 64.

"I wonder why it was left like that? Perhaps the Town Council did not deploy cleaners to clear the mess?"

Come on la, it's Sunday. The cleaners need a rest on Sundays also.

Don't target the cleaners; it is the person lacking civic-manners who threw the fridge that is at fault. Not the cleaners'.

Who dump the fridge? Can carry down to the block at least put one side or dump area. Cannot anyhow put, later as u see maybe ah beng kick the fridge.

Such big items can trace back to the owner one. Everyone submit their guarantee card when purchase such big item, just check with product company and waulah authority have fridge owner's details.

They can always say they gave or sold it to someone else and they don't have the buyer's details. The costs of doing all the detective work probably can't even be covered by the fine. As a taxpayer, I don't see a point in pursuing the culprits unless the dumping endangered someone's life.
