A 34-year-old man allegedly molested a 27-year-old woman on the ground floor of a Housing Board (HDB) block in Jurong West Avenue 1 and fled the scene.

He also changed his attire in a bid to avoid detection, said the police, who were alerted to the case at around 9.10pm on Sept 2.

Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from CCTV and police cameras, officers from Jurong Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him within two hours of the report.
