The husband and wife vendors selling mixed vegetables at Jurong Port Road Cooked Food Center were both diagnosed with the 2019 coronavirus.
The husband believed that he still worked alone in the stall for four days after the symptoms appeared.
The hawker centre has been sterilized and the rest of the vendors have stated that their business has not been affected.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, the 129th local woman and the 130th local man diagnosed on the 6th of this month are from the same family and live on 71st Street, Jurong West, both working at Jurong Haigang Road Cooked Food Centre.
Both cases were linked to the infection group at a private dinner at the Jurong SAFRA.
A beverage stall owner of the cooked food center told Channel 8 News reporters today (10th) that the couple who were diagnosed with coronavirus was a couple operating a mixed vegetable stall. Their food is usually very popular and has a good relationship with neighbors. The stall owner, who asked not to be named, said: "Originally the boss and the wife's wife were doing business, but they have not opened for ten days."
A statement from the Ministry of Health also pointed out that the 68-year-old female patient had not gone to work after symptoms appeared on the 2nd of this month.
A 66-year-old male patient developed symptoms on the 24th of last month. Both are currently undergoing isolation treatment at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
However, the male patient believed that he continued to work at the stall after the onset of symptoms.
The owner of the beverage stall, who declined to be named, said, "The last time I saw my boss was February 28." The beverage stall owner also said that the cleaners had disinfected and cleaned the entire cooked food center last Sunday (8th), and their business had not been significantly affected in the past two days. The stall owner said: "Ventilation is very good here, some people who come to eat will wear masks, but I am more relieved when I hear that they have been disinfected."
The owner of the curry rice stall also said that his business had not been affected.
Channel 8 News reporters observed that the mixed vegetable stall was temporarily blocked by five white door panels, and only the stall name was visible.
As of 12 noon yesterday, the infection group of the SAFRA private dinner group had 36 cases, becoming Singapore's largest coronavirus group, with patients from different industries including home barbers and dry food company delivery drivers.
