HI Michael,
Just to let you know that the Singapore netizens are not going to let Mr Ho Thian Poh get away with this:

http://www.temasekreview.com/2011/05/11/pap-membership-of-jurong-tc-manager-who-sacked-nsp-supporter-censored-by-state-media/
I hope you would investigate the matter and if you find Mr Ho, a UGL staff and a member of the Singapore's ruling political People's Action Party, has erred in illegally terminating Ms Geraldine Soh's employment due to political reasons, either you reinstate her or you compensate her accordingly.
UGL is a reputable public listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange. Hence, the more that it should not break any laws of any countries especially those involving politics. According to UGL website, this is what your UGL CEO Richard Leupen said about UGL's uncompromising values:
"UGL's people are focused on delivering the best possible project outcomes, and the group's core values underpin everything its people do. Teamwork, open and honest communication, integrity, safety and outstanding customer service are instrumental to our growth, the development of our people and the success of our customers."
I hope you would honour your CEO's words by carrying out a thorough investigation to ensure that the integrity of UGL and its people is upheld.
Yours sincerely,
Kojakbt
