A hint could be given by google search queries. In the book “A Billion Wicked Thoughts,” Google software engineers presented their data.

With crazy results, I think.

The famous psychologist Jordan Peterson also talked about this interesting book in one of his lectures I recently watched.

According to Peterson, this book is particularly interesting and authentic because it is written by engineers rather than social scientists. Therefore, the hard facts are much more in the foreground than concerns regarding the “ethics” of this book.

What the data tells us​

The first interesting finding is that men search for images or videos with pornographic content while women are more likely to search for literary representations of pornographic content.

The most interesting part is probably this: a plot analysis of the typical female pornographic fantasy. The engineers found that one particular type of literary porn depiction is especially popular.

A young and attractive woman meets a man who is dangerous in a way. A bit of a monster if you will. Think beauty and the beast.

Kind of funny. I mean, really?
