Population Policy Officer
(Citizenship & Population Unit)

Job Scope :
You will drive & guide overall immigration, naturalisation and integration efforts of potential and new immigrants. Specifically, you will review related policies and regulations, recommend strategic directions/enhancements in the naturalisation and integration processes, as well as work with partner agencies to put in place the outreach efforts.

Requirements :

• Honours degree with 3 years of working experience
• Interest in Singapore population issues
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Enjoy working across agencies and sectors

Population Policy Officer
(Overseas Singaporean Unit)

Job Scope:
You will help drive and co-ordinate government wide efforts in engaging the Overseas Singaporeans (OS), as well as conceptualise and implement engagement and outreach programmes. You will also review policies and regulations concerning OS and recommend strategic directions on better engaging the OS.

Requirements:

• Good Honours degree
• Good interpersonal and writing skills
• An effective team player and able to work independently
• Must be willing to travel

Recruits for such jobs were taken from existing civil service staff. The second used to be 2 year secondment and offered to couples way back in 1988.

In recent years they come under NPS. The second job is the one where you need to prep gurmit sing, organise food stall with well known singapore delicacies so that singaporeans studying abroad will return and those who have left will also return.

They should spend their time fixing the overcrowding, employment and other opportunities for singaporeans first.

Hey what about experience?It does count right!..I mean you cannot have a freshie from U talking on this job right.Obviously no Sinkie qualifies for this with an experience.Another job created for another FT-Wallah,PAP had done it again.

I figure the most experienced in this sort of work should come from ex-Nazi(s) ,could apply if they are still alive...
