FOUR parang-wielding men robbed a houseowner in Taman Mastiara, Kuala Lumpur, only to apologise and return RM100 after realising that they had mistaken him for a money changer, China Press reported.
According to the victim, the robbers had told him that they thought he was a money changer, but learned that he was actually a security guard at a money changer outlet.“Before they left the house, they even asked me if I had money to eat and returned RM100, ” he said, adding that the robbers also apologised.
However, they later fled with RM70,000 worth of cash, jewellery, television and a car.
