SHE poured boiling water over her maid's genitals and joined in to extract the Indonesian woman's two front teeth with pliers.

On Wednesday, divorcee Maselly Ab Aziz, 38, was the last in a family of maid abusers to be convicted of these offences committed in 2007.

Her two children and a woman described in court as Maselly's lesbian lover were jailed last year for their part in abusing the maid.

During a three-week trial earlier this year, Maselly claimed that 30-year-old Badingah had asked to be punished to make up for her wrongdoings.

But District Judge Jeffrey Sim told Maselly: 'It may well be that the maid may have committed mistakes...but this does not justify the offences.'

The judge was convinced that Maselly had hit Ms Badingah with a metal rod and threatened to kill her if she did not return $60 that she was accused of stealing.

The series of abuse and torture that Ms Badingah endured at the hands of these four sadists, took place between June 2 and July 26 last year.

According to public prosecutors, the abuse started just three months after Elsa 'borrowed' Ms Badingah from her mother's apartment to work in the Jalan Minyak household.
Ms Badingah, who had serious and extensive injuries, feared her abusers so much and for her life, that at one time, she actually jumped out of the kitchen window of the second-storey apartment and ran for her life.

Badingah's teeth were pried out with a pair of pliers wielded by a teenager

FOR over a year, Indonesian maid Badingah, 28, covered her mouth when she smiled, embarrassed by her missing front teeth.


Now Ms Badingah can smile again, thanks to a dentist who read about her ordeal and stepped forward to help. Dr Steven Ang, who works at a clinic in Orchard Road, offered his services free of charge.

Nur Rizan Mohd Sazali, she has been dubbed by the press as "The Dentist".

18-year-old mother of one, Nur Rizan Mohd Sazali was jailed for 26 months - 12 months for forcibly extracting the two teeth of, and another 14 months for pouring boiling wax on the maid.

Ms Badingah's employer, 25-year old Elsa Elyana Said, forcibly held the maid's head and forced her mouth open while the extraction took place.
Elsa pleaded guilty to punching the maid and assisting in the torture. She was jailed one year and 5 months

20-year old Muhammad Iz'aan was jailed for six weeks after having pleaded guilty to caning Ms Badingah. He is Nur Rizan's brother.
Muhammad Iz'aan caned the maid in a very bizarre torturous kind of punishment. She had been ordered to stand facing the door for a whole night with one leg off the ground and holding her ears. Every time that she dropped her leg, she was caned. The reason for this punishment is still unknown.

On Wednesday, the last of them - 39-year-old grandmother Maselly Abdul Aziz - paid the price for going to the extreme.
She was jailed three years for pouring boiling water on maid Badingah's genitals and joining in to extract the Indonesian woman's two front teeth with pliers.
Maselly, a divorcee, will start her jail sentence on Dec 28 as her elder daughter Nur Rizan Mohd Sazali, 19, would be released on home detention by then to look after her (Nur Rizan's) two-year-old son.

She pleaded guilty to employing another foreign maid without a work permit between March and December 2005 and was fined S$7,500.
