MANY nations will need such missile defense systems, as the monstrous terrorist Hamas had proven, using cheap & defective missiles to KILL INNOCENTS. They are beasts & care not about 'intended' targets. Their targets are to strike FEAR, & so long as the missiles can kill anyone, it is considered a good missile, & they with their hideous supporters will celebrate & drink to innocent bloods spilt....
Thus the need to invest in such proven systems that had saved lives for decades such as missile defense system.
The one nation that needs such a missile defense system would be Saudi Arabia. As it is the leader of 1 Billion Sunnis worldwide, the birthplace of the LAST Prophet Muhammad whom had attempted to BRING CIVILIZATION to nomads living there in 7th century, in its harsh environment, but sadly, others whom were still barbaric in nature, had other nefarious ideas, & thus the war that had not ended even today, after 1400yrs....
It was the Sunnis whom had branched out to the World & taught the principles & ideals of the Koran, less the misinterpretations & taken out of context quotes that saw progress of Muslims whom converted in lush fertile valleys of S.E Asia. But sadly until the pivotal year 1979 when insane Shia & PERSIAN Ayatollahs ruled Iran & be DEVIOUS means, which saw ALL progress made by prophet Muhammad's teachings turned to dust, in a race to REGRESS a religion of peace that was meant to progress the Arabs....
The end battle of the Palestinian Israeli is at hand & will be over soon. Once they both achieve stability, Persian Shia Iran will be vulnerable as the race for religion supremacy will be the main battle once again - Between 1 billion Sunnis & 300 million Shia.
Already Iran had created subtle proxies such as the Hizbollahs, whom had been funded richly from govt revenues that was meant for critical social expenditures. They are found in all corners of Earth, building contacts, subverting progressive Islamic theologies into radical beliefs, & are found even in the drug capitals of the World as corrupted S. American leaders, for International support, PROVEN in the current crisis, with sad Lebanon & now abandoned Houthis in Yemen, but still armed with even ballistic missiles....
Ali, was a Humanist, & chosen by Prophet Muhammad to lead the Arabs. Only ALLAH knows best, as it would take time for nomadic barbaric cultures to understand civilization, thus another was chosen. Even then, barbaric as they were, the COMPANIONS of the prophet gave him a chance, but sadly, others still steep in barbarism, assassinated him, & used him for nefarious purposes by the Persians, whom the prophet had NOT invaded Persia when he could, as he too knew it would take time, wrote long lengthy letters to persuade the Persian leaders to convert, but time not enough for others to elevated lives in their MINUTE perceptions.

Thus Saudi Arabia & its allies need to be protected with missile defense systems, if it had already not been done....
