Phone book distribution was a mess

THE set-up for the collection of the Singapore Phone Books last month was poor and haphazard. On Dec 24, I went to Teck Ghee Community Centre to collect the phone book. Hard copies of the English version were not available and I was asked to accept the CD instead, which I refused. I was told that there may be stocks under the West CC category.
I called the Yellow Pages hotline two days later and the officer confirmed that there were stocks in that category. I drove from my home in Serangoon North to Jurong Spring CC, but there was no stock. Again I was offered the CD. I asked where I could obtain the book and was directed to the headquarters at Toa Payoh.
Until today I still do not have the English phone book.
The whole distribution exercise suffered from poor planning and poor communication. I am still waiting for Yellow Pages to get back to me on this.
