Hi all, guess it is abt time to add some pressure to the petrol companies!

Crude Oil dropped, they diam diam again! Crude Oil up, they fast fast up!

shall we use to boycott the companies that reduce the price the slowest the last time round? I think should be one of the smaller one right?

If only gov. willing to lift the 3/4 tank rule. All the petrol company will automatic have real pressure to reduce the price . Want to promote FREE trade why want to impose this stupid rule.
Singapore is the only country in the world bane their own citizen getting cheaper fuel from cross border. Other country system is to bane vehicle from coming in to pump cheaper fuel.
Really 1st world system can put in Guinness World of record.

Crude oil crash, they say oil price is not peg to oil futures.

These bastards are just out to milk you for as long as they can before new technology mature and every will dump petrol driven cars for clean renewable fuel.

Support note ...but the bloody problem is that nearly all the BIG time players e.g. SHELL, EXXON etc. usually lower their prices together to the same pricing and within the same day. Hardly, any time for consumers to take any advantage..

How about cars..can we boycott car distributors also for not warning us the petrol price will go up so high?

Car distributors will only champion the fuel efficiency of the cars they sell .Dun think they got insider news for petrol prices but COE maybe :p

High oil prices, coe, gst, sin taxes,...are not going to change until real political change takes place. Only have to take a look at Malaysia where UMNO hasn't got a stranglehold & they have to keep the ordinary Malaysians happy.

How are you, or to make it sound better, we, going to fight a CARTEL?

Put one F1 car in Bugis Jct, and half the male population crowds there to see the car! How is a society with this kind of mindset going to boycott these big companies????

"The Great Turning" by David Korten, this book provides some ideas. But I don't whether society is willing to change its values.

High oil prices, coe, gst, sin taxes,...are not going to change until real political change takes place. Only have to take a look at Malaysia where UMNO hasn't got a stranglehold & they have to keep the ordinary Malaysians happy.

Even Malaysia got petrol hike despite the fact that they are an oil producing country. What about Singapore which has no resources but is big on refineries? If base price already high, you cannot afford to lower down the price further.

So the solution is looking at alternative form of fuel and improved public transport system.
