Ironical Differences Betweeen Becoming an MP and being a President

I'm not sure what the article is driving at but the Office of the Head of State of a country is definitely more influential and important than that of an MP representing a small part of the country.
The EP was supposedly created by one man for his "retirement " job,and the fact that so many MIW commented on the job "scope" shows their fear of it going to someone with a different philosophy.
Just like any job, the letter of appointment or the law normally prescribes only the main things that you can or cannot do.

However it can never lay down exhaustively all the do and don'ts and the incumbent always have a degree of flexibility (unless he chose to do nothing of value and therefore cannot be measured).
It is an EP who is willing to test the limit of his job that the MIW is most worried about.
Is there anything in the law that says that the EP cannot voice out his "worry" that public housing is unaffordable to most citizens or that there are too many immigrants for this small place to sustain?

basically, in most organizations, the headman, the chief, the chairperson is the 1 who drives the agenda. the incumbent is particular about the selection of EP candidates, to ensure that their interests cannot be conflicted by the new EP. to the incumbent, the worse case scenario is when the EP starts singing a song that the rest of the cabinet is not prepared, or doesnt want to sing...

so, its no wonder y it seems quite clear that all EP wannabe shall have to once orginate from 1 camp, for its obvious not many local businesses had 9 figure annual turnovers.
