but at least iranian regime is not entirely without root in the country or among its peoples, iran was not created last century or the century prior to that by the poms (like suudis, ceca virus, pakis, jiuhu or stinkies). this may give some iranians some wrong ideas, inflated sense of superiority without any basis. of coz, iranian history is littered with defeats, subjugation, and being conquered by all and sundry. probably ceca virus fares worse, not sure if anybody else fares worse, maybe iraq syria or egypt might come close. at least, turkic donkeys in anatolia can say they fared pretty well in anatolia in last 1000 years or so. not always winning, but never getting entirely decimated captured subjugated or colonized.
