Sewage leak at ION Orchard affects jewellery stores on B2

SINGAPORE: A sewage leak at ION Orchard Tuesday left the mall's basement two's annex area soiled.
The annex area consists of a row of nine jewellery shops - called Jewellery Street - which was shut off to shoppers.
The mall's management has traced the leak to a clogged pipe in their internal drainage system.
The leak apparently occurred at about 5pm and the area is being cleaned up. - CNA/jm
