Now, they use a different tactics. Previously, will use ang chia and vans... this always cause the PRC MMs to run away. Some run away, some get caught. Now they use fishing tactics. Use undercover method. Dress up as business towkay, drive ordinary BMWs, catching one by one like fishing....(rather than using net)....
Also, heard that some of these PRCMMs are doing this.. apparently, there is a loophole in the system that allows PRC MMs to "officially" work as KTV girls without the fear of being caught. Source said some of these KTV girls came here on work permits (ie, got company that sponsored them to come here but no need to work for the company. They pay a certain sum to the company). Now, because of the raiding everyday, they bo seng li, cannot work. So some of them actually went to ICA to confess, tell ICA that they pay so much money to this company and the company sponsored them for WP. But they dont work for the company. they claimed they kenna swindled by company. Then ICA will investigate the company. meanwhile give them a "white" card to allow them to stay in Singapore temporary as they are supposed to be state witness. With white card, they can now work "officially" in KTVs cause govt need to give them a means to work and eat, while waiting for court case agasint the company.
When I hear of anymore stories, will let u know...
So, bottomline, people here should go ask ICA or MPs, how come they allowed people to work illegally... HAHAHA!

Find then what? The big shot corporate executive or government official are just there to "discuss" business or to "unwind" by singing karaoke. There are no laws against such things.

I believe what they are doing is catching the MMs working without a work permit, that's all. Nothing else to catch in the KTV lounges.
