So far what we heard of is Micropolis, Shin Corp, ABC Learning, Merril Lynch, Citigroup, UBS, Barclays and a few more. All are quite negative and reflect badly on the present CEO.

So are there any successful Foreign Investment that we have miss out?

I am talking about Foreign Investment and not local ones.

Local ones there are nothing to be proud of since they have all the advantages like getting the best deal, best location, monopolized market, amending rules and regulations, positive promotion from state media. I think profit will still be high even the CEO is me.

local no need say la, give me also make money. you give me all the prime location, all next to busy MRT or those at big estate, I open liao sure lots of chain stores want to open at my mall, i say how much they also give. I can even make sure some of the units are reserve only for my other businessess, and make sure they are the only operator of that trade around that area.

Under a situation like this, it doesn't require a genius to make profit, anyone can do it.

If given long enough time even the most mundane object has the potential of becoming valuable. Eg The ancient manuscripts of the Timbuktu scribes have become valuable after hundreds of years. Ordinary citizens just want their pension scheme to be able to sustain their retirement. Is it too much to ask after a life time of hard work and taxes?
