Chinese Influencer Found Out She Was Pregnant The Day Before She Gave Birth
The true definition of "Surprise!".

A Chinese beauty influencer named Ting Ting has gone viral for her super whirlwind pregnancyexperience.
Basically, she found out she was pregnant one day before giving birth.
Ting Ting shared her story online, and immediately became a trending topic on Weibo.
Recalling the events leading up to her baby’s birth, Ting Ting said: “On the night of November 6, I was in my bed playing a game on my phone when I felt something warm ‘below’. I assumed my period had started, and didn’t think much of it."
After finishing her game, Ting Ting stood up only to realise the floor was damp. She thought her dog peed on the floor, but upon looking down, saw she was standing in a pool of blood.
She was not alarmed at first but as she walked to the bathroom, more blood began to flow down her leg.
She sat on the toilet for the next 30 minutes while blood continued to flow out of her. She was shocked but said she “did not feel any pain at all”.
She went to the gynaecologist the next day, and after the doctor felt around her stomach for a "long time”, Ting Ting was asked: “Miss, are you pregnant?”
Ting Ting laughed at the possibility, adding that her periods had been regular, and she did not experience any pregnancy symptoms such as mood swings, morning sickness, or change in appetite.
Then she heard a heartbeat during the ultrasound.
Turns out, she was already 34 weeks pregnant.
Ting Ting said she only “did it” with her baby daddy once and even took the morning-after pill.
Clearly fate had other plans for her.
Ting Ting was asked to go to another hospital for a thorough check-up. Unbeknownst to her at that time, her “period-like cramps" were actually contractions, and her water had broken the night before.
She went home, told her mum she was expecting, and together, they planned her visit to the hospital. They “weren’t in a rush” as they thought she still had a month before she was due.
At the hospital the next day, the doctor discovered Ting Ting's cervix was already “one-finger dilated”. She was then immediately wheeled into the operation theatre to have her baby.
She was so shocked her blood pressure shot up, making the whole delivery process much riskier.
Luckily, her baby, though premature, was delivered safely. The newborn stayed in the ICU for 10 days before Ting Ting brought him home.
Ting Ting has since explained that her pregnancy was very “unusual” as she did not experience any typical pregnancy symptoms, saw no change in her appearance, and did not feel any fetal movement at all.
“I saw online that expectant mums on the heavier side may not feel fetal movement, and it so happens that I’m on the chubbier side,” she quipped.
She even did three pregnancy tests from three different brands, just to be safe, and the results all returned negative.
Ting Ting said: “When I used to hear stories of other women finding out they’re expecting super late into their term, I always thought they lacked general knowledge, were slow, or were lying to get attention. But when this happened to me, I was scared speechless."
She then encouraged her viewers to “be fully prepared” before welcoming a kid, adding that her situation was “particularly dangerous”, for both herself and her newborn.
Netizens were shocked by Ting Ting’s story. Some refused to believe she was telling the truth, while others said both mother and baby were “extremely lucky” to be healthy.
When interviewed by Chinese media, a medical expert said he had never come across a case like Ting Ting’s, and a situation like hers “rarely ever happens”.
