SINGAPORE - An inactive website belonging to Raffles Institution was hacked into this week.
According to a report in the Straits Times, visitors to RI's old admissions page (rp.ri.edu.sg) on Thursday night were greeted by an eagle crest and the words "Indonesia Independence" against a black screen.
The work was attributed to 'juan666' and an Indonesian flag was placed at the bottom of the page. The day of the incident - Aug 17 - coincided with Indonesia's independence day.
By Friday morning, the site was taken down by the school's administration.
No police report was made, as the site had been inactive for almost a year.
