Overheard this morning that Indians in Singapore are trying very hard to show-off in CLASSLESS manners.
There was this group in the next table. Could tell they were doctors and getting hysterical about some Indian friend of theirs who refuses to change his old mercedes that is giving countless problems because being seen in a JAP car is deemed as "lost face", so die die also drive the troublesome merc around.
The same Indian chap supposedly also goes on dinners, parties, trips and holidays and after coming back will tell his kakis how wonderful his trips were blah blah blah, WITHOUT ANYONE ASKING. Super classless!
And get this. This guy is a professional. WTF?
Nowadays, the Indians are super classless? Or is it people with some new found wealth behave like this?
Hahaha...I almost choked on my ba kut teh the way this Indian bloke was chastised by his "kakis".
