This is a bus stop, not a canteen!

STOMPer A Mummy wonders how people can just eat at a bus stop and leave their leftover food there.

In an email to STOMP today (Sept 24), the STOMPer says:

“I saw this at the bus stop outside Blk 1003 JTC Bus stop on Sept 19. Is the bus stop a canteen?

“Really wonder why there are people who can eat at the bus stop and then leave their leftover food there.

“I think they should be no eating at bus stops just like there is no eating and drinking in MRT trains.”

Talking about Indian Curry, ever think of why Ah Nehs are so good in Math? and good with Words?

Scientists discovered new ways food and supplements affect our brain. Here's the latest research on nutritional ways to boost memory, mood and kids' IQ scores and to protect against mental decline as we get older.

Ah Neh Curry for the brain. Why does Alzheimer's disease strike only 1% of India's over-65 population vs. 10% of America's? New UCLA research finds one reason may be Indian food's curry spices, especially turmeric, which contains the antioxidant curcumin. Daily low doses of curcumin slashed deposits of brain plaque (a hallmark of Alzheimer's) by 50% in mice. Probable reason: Curcumin is a strong anti-inflammatory, similar to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen, also tied to fewer Alzheimer's cases. But curcumin may be safer than NSAIDs in preventing Alzheimer's, researchers concluded.

Daily Indian Curry is good for U!
