From the various news sources, Indian commandoes only know how to storm buildings without planning and stealth - make a loud scene, instigating the terrorists to kill the hostages prematurely.

Must be play too much video games - seems like the operations head just instruct them: You all will be dropped off at top floor. Work your way down and kill all the terrorists haha

Also, read that a few Indian senior police got killed, like shot in chest. Obviously their body armour is made in India and cannot withstand AK rounds, unlike US armour. So pathetic. Might as well dont wear any armour lah!

It is confirmed also tt one Mumbai police chief among others got killed by bullets wound to chest what. ST i think got it.

Our coast guard better learn form this, they have to investigate any boat in distress and that is when they are lured into a trap.

SG is easy to attack, if we are being picked for a Mumbai type attack, I'm sure it can be pull off and the death toll will be even higher.

there is no confirmed news report of coast guard being killed , but they did kill some fisher men to hijack their boat.

check out the link i posted , not all police personal need the body armor till they are in the real op, off duty police men called in from leave or else where will come in plain clothes looking at the situation ,its a standard protocol.

That, right there, is the biggest reason why security forces the world over are so ineffectual against terrorists.

Because the terrorists are always ahead of the curve, while the security forces are always planning for the old attack. No one is ever going to fly a plane into a building again...'been there done that' is likely their motto. Plus no more shock value.

These killers are not exactly fools, they rarely use the same MO twice, so move on from the coast guard theories now. If there is another big one (and its hard to see how there won't be, given the shit the world is in), it will most likely be a completely new way of attacking, with the added elements of total surprise.

Then everyone will be analysing the old attack, while the killers will start looking for the next surprising move that no one is expecting.

i agree with u... in sg, u can dream about the police doing that. they r famous for responding only when armed criminals have left the country. remember the 1 eyed dragon???

and it is so easy to storm into sg... and easy to defend against the sg commandos cos we have an abundance of high rise buildings with lots of rooms to clear. fighting in built up areas will mean 2 things:- defenders will have big advantage and high casualties. with that, have to respect the indian commandos. but for our bloody big mouthed gahmen, :oIo: LO'S BLOOD IS IN YOUR HANDS!!!
