Hey, this is a repeated post. It goes to show how tough LTK is... he dared to go head on debating with LKY whereas most will have their tails between legs. This is a living proof to those who accuse LTK of not having enough guts.
Anyway LKY's argument is really lame and boring. The usual "if the govt fails you are dead" kinda fear-mongering. And Low's counter-argument is to the point "Is the MM saying without paying such high salaries we are bound to fail?"... in other words pay scale =/= successful govt... there are countless successful countries in the world including superpowers and their ministers are not paid like SG.
LKY understood what LTK was saying and he started claiming SG is way better than Switzerland, Denmark, etc.
