Friday sermon at the As-Siddiq Mosque in Queens, New York, Dr. Yousry Ayad said that Allah granted Hamas victory in Gaza, as they worked to "save the Muslim nation." He said that he believes that all the Islamic nation is happy with this victory. He added that Allah gave them everything they had asked for. Ayad supplicated to Allah to grant the mujahideen victory and steadfastness.
Yousry Ayad: "We see in our Muslim nation, they are killing each other, fighting with each other. You hear it in Gaza. They tried to make peace. Allah gave victory to the Hamas people. Allah gave them victory. And who is fighting with them? Muslim leaders. Their own Palestinian president is not happy. He said that the paper on which they wrote the agreement – it's only ink... it is not even [worth] the cost of the ink. He is not happy. He needs to destroy his own people.

"I believe that the whole [Islamic] nation is really happy – the nation that says 'There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' Allah gave them the victory as they worked to put their plots to save the Muslim nation. They are [but] a few people – Allah supported them. Nations [fought] against them, and Allah said: 'The victory of Allah is near.' It is coming. We supplicate to Allah that Allah accepts all our supplications. This is a great and wonderful moment, what they were asking for – they got it.

"Oh Allah, grant victory to the mujahideen wherever they are. Oh Allah, grant them with steadfastness, provide for them clothing and food. Oh Allah, bless their children and wives."
