What rubbish is Sylvia Lim talking ?
What has Sylvia Lim been doing since she joined the Workers’ Party, took over the Chairmanship position, and entered political fray ?
With characters such as Sylvia Lim in politics, is it any wonder that LKY had never taken the Alternative Politial Party seriously, when such unbelieveable thoughts could come forth from Sylvia Lim ?
Politics is all about organising and leading a community of people into uncharted waters, and mobilise the spirits of such a community to work for the collective good of everyone.
When the current political party is clueless and bankrupt of any ideas to move forward, it falls on the Alternative Political Party to participate in the contest of ideas – that will allow Singaporeans to decide who is best to lead us forward !
Clearly, Sylvia Lim has no clue what politics is all about – and believe that it is purely “masak masak” – “or similar to her rightful place in the kitchen” !
When a young lawyer with the gift of the gap – named Harry Lee – and his team young activists in the PAP first entered politics in the 1950s – they were prepared to form the Government even when they had ‘ZERO political track record’ and similarly had ‘ZILCH experience in government’ – as they had a political vision where to bring Singapore forward to the next level, when the then LIM YEW HOCK Government was clueless and had already bankrupted the Singapore Treasury.
If Sylvia Lim has no clue about forming a New Government – when all the institutions and instrument of government has existed since Singapore was given Self-Government in 1954, and independent since 1965 – then clearly, Sylvia Lim and her Workers’ Party do not deserve the Singapore voters’ confidence !
