don't forget, singapore were now the MOST POWDERFUL PEESAI in the world. the richest! the most popular! the best weaponry!! the pinkiest PM!!

so are others going to make SINGLISH their compulsory school subject?

lau goh stressed so much about EXCELLENCE & SWISS STANDARD. what happened next was many peasants were played out and swiss standard is only an delusion to most.

pinky stresses on "mother tongue language". for me, it would be hokkien. for others, it should be cantonese, teochew, hakka, hainanese...etc.

what mother tongue is MANDARIN suppose to be?? even the authentic PRC chinese do not speak perfect mandarin and many are tribes and sub-tribes with their own unique language.

so what's all the fuss about mother and her tongue?

if the fortune changes and china is no longer the most powderful economy, then what happen next? if korea now overtakes china, are we suppose to speak korean as our "mother tongue" or even a 2nd language?

what about the other main languages of malay and tamil?

so what's the fuss about nothing?

in my times, japan. germany and france were the most powerful economic countries, i remembered i had to take up another extra language. instead i chose MALAY cos it was closer to heart. many took up either jap or french. german was frowned upon. credit due to adolf hitler.

in the end, i ended up triligual: engrish, cheena & melayu
