I was burnt like a piece of meat at a beauty parlour
STOMPer Valerie claims that the area around her eyes were burnt badly when she went for milia treatment at a beauty parlour located in Hougang.
Milia are tiny white cysts which appear on the surface of the skin. It is a skin condition that can be dealt with using laser treatment.
According to Valerie, the beautician continued the treatment even though she was undergoing unbearable pain and treated the STOMPer's face like a piece of meat.
This STOMPer says:
"I went to the beautician to have the milia removed.
"The process was tantamount to what I would describe as soldering, i.e. using heat through a metal rod with a fine tip to literally burn the milia down.
"The result will be burnt marks on the treated spots for a few days before the skin heals.
"I was very upset by the way the procedure was performed on my face, not for the pain that I suffered, but the fact that I was taken as a piece of dead meat.
"Most of the milia grew around my eyes and it does not require much common sense to know that the areas around the eyes are very sensitive.
"That robotic beautician took sadistic delight in burning and burning non-stop without checking if the pain was bearable and ignoring all those tears that were streaming freely like a leaking faucet from my eyes.
"What happened next was too unpleasant for me to relate and now I have unsightly marks on my face.
"The beauty salon is located at Hougang Interchange."
