how about putting all retrench and unemployed into NS slavery. The SAF would then garuntee them meals for the entire family if he is breadwinner.

In this way, the low IQ singaporeans would be put where they are most comfortable as NS slaves while the high IQ wont have to do NS and they can start new companies like apple and google.

This solution would enable FULL EMPLOYMENT and also stop NS from killing Sg.

in some countries, full-time 2yrs (or less) NS applicable to those with less education. while those who're moving on to tertiary & further studies need only serve a customary 6mths NS for status quo.

in other countries, full-time 2yr (or less) NS is conscripted via drawing lots. your destiny lies within your own hands, sometimes regarded as life-changing, so the families have their patriach/matriach in the household to officiate the drawing of lots.

ironically, here in sg, there was a time (10yrs span) when the tertiary educated were made to serve 2.5yrs. while the less educated had only to serve 2yrs... 0.5yrs extra multiplied by at least 6 intakes of servicemen, multiplied by the number of A-level & poly grads each yr (for 10yrs)........ apparently mindef was clueless how many ppl could have moved on from NS, n joined the workforce... bringing about better revenue turn-over for the nation
